Book a consultationHealthcare in Greece when you do not speak Greek
Greece has good doctors, but reaching one as a visitor or a newer resident is harder than it should be. Public services run in Greek, private clinics keep their own hours, and on the islands the nearest practice may be a ferry away. DocNow connects you by video to doctors who are registered with a Greek medical association and consult in English.
What a consultation covers
A fifteen-minute video consultation with a doctor who reviews your history, discusses your concern and advises you on what to do next. Depending on their clinical judgement, that may mean reassurance and self-care advice, a referral to a specialist, a request for tests, or an e-prescription. The doctor decides what is appropriate — the fee covers the consultation itself.
One price, no subscription
€20 per consultation. No membership, no annual fee, no charge for booking. You pay when you book and you receive a receipt issued by the doctor. If you cancel in time, you are refunded in full.
How it works
Download the app, choose a doctor and a time that suits you, and join the video call from your phone. Most people book and consult the same day. Your consultation is private, and your data is stored within the EU under GDPR.
Do the doctors speak English?
The doctors on DocNow consult in Greek and English. You can see which languages each doctor works in before you book.
Can I use DocNow while on holiday in Greece?
Yes. Consultations work anywhere in Greece with a phone signal or wifi, including the islands.
Can a doctor issue a prescription?
A doctor may issue an e-prescription if they judge it clinically appropriate after assessing you. That decision rests with the doctor, and the fee covers the consultation rather than any particular outcome.
What does it cost?
