How to request deletion

You can request deletion of your account in either of the following ways:

• ·In the app: Settings → Delete account, then confirm.
• ·By email to privacy@docnow.gr from the email address registered to your account, with the subject “Account deletion request”.

We confirm receipt and complete your request within one (1) month, in line with Article 12(3) GDPR.

What data is deleted

Deleting your account removes your account and profile data (name, email, phone, address, login credentials) and ends your ability to access the app.

What data is retained, and why

Your medical record (clinical notes, diagnoses, prescriptions, referrals) is NOT deleted when you delete your account. It is retained for ten (10) years from your last contact, as required by Article 14 of Law 3418/2005. Likewise, accounting records are retained for ten (10) years under Law 4308/2014. After the statutory retention periods expire, data is permanently deleted or anonymised.
